House Murphy truly deserves every bit of recognition and coverage it receives, and is an exceptional exemplar of engaging and contextually responsive architecture, both in the macro and micro scale.

Tersius Maass, Associate at STA, has been fortunate enough to work alongside Richard on his house in the early Planning and DA stages, a professional experience he notes he will never forget.
Since his involvement the design has progressed into a truly magnificent series of playful and “space defying” interlaced rooms which he had the pleasure of experiencing first hand earlier this year.
